Deactivating your account (and coming back)

Deactivating is the reversible option. Nothing is deleted; the account is just switched off.

1. 1Open Account (clients: /dashboard/account · reviewers: /review/profile).
2. 2Under Deactivate account, click Deactivate my account and confirm.

While deactivated

• You're signed out on every device and can't open the dashboard or the reviewer area.
• Clients: burns you already ordered keep going (a reviewer who has claimed one can still submit it); you just can't order new ones until you're back.
• Reviewers: you drop out of the reviewer pool. A burn you had claimed but not submitted goes back to the queue for someone else. Your Heat, level and badges are frozen, not lost.
• No marketing emails.

Coming back

Go to /login and sign in with the same Google account. That's it: the account switches back on and you'll see a "welcome back" note. Credits, burns, Heat and badges are exactly as you left them.

The 30-day limit

An account left deactivated for 30 days is deleted the same way as Deleting your account. If you just want a break with no deadline, you don't need to deactivate at all; an idle account stays idle.
