Is my website information kept confidential?
Reviewers agree to a confidentiality clause before every burn. Recordings are visible only to you and are never used for marketing without your written permission. Deleting your account removes every recording of your site; support can remove a single one on request.
Reviewers accept a confidentiality clause each time they claim a burn: what they see stays between them and the platform, and any attempt to contact a site owner outside BurnTest results in a cooldown or removal.
For unreleased or sensitive pages, a few practical tips:
- Use a staging URL that you can take down after the burn.
- Don't put credentials in the page itself; put them in the brief's task field, which only the assigned reviewer sees.
- You can delete the recording from your dashboard when you're done with it.
