Built by someone who's paid for the traffic.

I spent years running paid traffic to websites that looked great and converted terribly. Before BurnTest I built a consumer hydration brand from zero to $8.5 million in revenue in four years, almost entirely on paid ads. That means I've personally watched a lot of money go into a landing page and not come back out.

Every time it happened, the same thing followed. The agency blamed the ads. The developer blamed the copy. The designer blamed the offer. Everybody had a theory. Nobody was watching what a real person actually did when they landed on the page.

The first time I paid a stranger to record themselves trying to buy from my store, I found the problem in four minutes. It wasn't the ads. It was a size chart that didn't say whether it was US or UK sizing. She said, out loud, “I have no idea what to order, I'm out,” and closed the tab. We fixed it that afternoon.

BurnTest is that experience, productized: real people, real recordings, real answers, at a price a solo founder can justify without a budget meeting. No annual contract. No $10,000 consultant. Paste a URL, hear the truth, fix it.

What we believe

Honesty is the product. Reviewers earn Heat and free burns per approved burn, never per positive burn, and site owners rate blunt feedback highest. The incentives point at the truth.

Why beats where. Analytics tell you where people leave. Only a person can tell you why. We use AI to organize what people said — never to make it up.

Nobody should pay monthly for a thing they need quarterly. Burns are credits. They never expire.
