Which cookies we set, what they do, and how to say no.
Strictly necessary
A session cookie that keeps you signed in and a CSRF token that protects forms. These can't be switched off; the app doesn't work without them.
Preferences
Remembers choices like your default device for new burns and whether you've dismissed a notice. Cleared when you clear your browser storage.
Analytics
We use privacy-respecting analytics to count page views and understand which features are used. Where a cookie-based tool is used, it is only loaded after you accept. You can decline and the site works exactly the same.
Advertising
When we run paid campaigns we may load an ad-platform pixel on marketing pages only, after consent, to measure whether the campaign worked. We never load ad pixels inside the logged-in app or on pages that show your recordings.
How to control cookies
Use the Accept / Deny choice on the banner, or change your decision at any time from the footer link. Your browser can also block or delete cookies; the strictly necessary ones will be recreated when you sign in.
