Heat
Every honest burn heats you up.
An approved burn is worth +10 Heat, up to +22 with bonuses for targeted burns, complete notes, long recordings, fast turnaround and mobile. A 5-star rating from the owner multiplies it by 1.4. Rejections cost 15. Two approved burns a week keep a streak alive; go idle and Heat slowly cools.

Free burns
From Ember, approved burns earn burn credits: 1 per 3 at Ember, 1 per 2 at Flame, 1:1 at Inferno. Spend them on your own site. They never expire and are only ever spent on burns.
Badges & leaderboard
Sixteen milestone badges, each with a one-time Heat bonus, and a weekly, monthly and all-time leaderboard under a display name you control. Opt out any time.
Cooldown
Drop below 3.5, get more than 30% of your last 10 burns rejected, or submit a silent, off-site or under-two-minute burn and your account cools down for 7 days: you can record, but earn nothing. Full policy.
