How Heat and rewards work

What Heat is

Heat is your reviewer reputation. It goes up when site owners approve your burns and rate them well, and down when burns are rejected. Your Heat decides your level (Spark → Ember → Flame → Blaze → Inferno → Wildfire), and each level unlocks perks: free burn credits, priority access to new burns, free AI audits, an Elite label, a spot on the reviewers page.

How a burn earns Heat

• +10 base for every approved burn
• × the owner's rating — 1★ ×0.6 · 2★ ×0.8 · 3★ ×1.0 · 4★ ×1.2 · 5★ ×1.4 (unrated counts as ×1.0). The rating is applied the moment the owner leaves it, so a 5★ later tops you up.
• Bonuses, added flat: +3 targeted burn (the owner asked for your demographic) · +2 complete written notes · +2 recording of 4+ minutes · +3 submitted within 24 hours of claiming · +2 mobile burn

So a plain approved burn is +10; a 5★ targeted mobile burn with full notes, 5 minutes long and turned around the same day is 14 + 12 = +26.

What else moves Heat

• Rejected burn: −15, or −20 when it was silent, too short or off-site
• Qualification burn passes: +10
• Ad rating: +1 each, up to 10 a day
• Weekly streak: two or more approved burns in a week keeps a streak going and pays +5 × your streak (capped at 6 weeks in a row)
• Badges: each milestone badge is a one-time bonus of 5 to 200 Heat
• Decay: after three weeks without an approved burn, Heat cools 5% a week. It can drop you a level, never to zero.

What Heat is not

It isn't money. It can't be cashed out, transferred or sold, and neither can the burn credits it earns. Rewards are credits, status and access; that keeps the incentive pointed at honest feedback instead of volume.

Fair play

• Heat from any single site owner is capped at 30% of your weekly gain, so nobody can farm one friendly client.
• You can't review the same page twice within 90 days.
• More than 30% rejections over your last 10 burns, a rating average under 3.5, or a silent/short/off-site rejection starts a cooldown.
