What if a burn isn't helpful or is low quality?
You approve or reject every burn. Reject one and we replace it free, no questions asked, and the reviewer loses Heat. Reviewers who fall below our quality bar go into a 7-day cooldown where burns earn nothing.
What counts as low quality
- Long silences (the reviewer isn't narrating)
- Under two minutes
- Most of the time spent somewhere other than your site
- Not attempting the task in your brief
- Pre-recorded or obviously read from a script
What to do
Reject it from the burn page with a short reason. A replacement burn is created free and goes to a different reviewer. The rejected reviewer loses Heat and, for silent/short/off-site burns, goes into a 7-day cooldown.
What doesn't count
Honest feedback you disagree with. If the reviewer followed the brief and told you what they thought, approve it and rate it on how attentive and specific they were.
