Approving and rejecting a burn

When a recording lands, the burn page shows a Watch & decide panel.

Approve

Approving marks the burn complete and pays the reviewer. Approved burns count toward the Insight Report for that URL. You can then rate the reviewer from 1 to 5.

Reject

Reject when the recording doesn't meet the bar: silent stretches, under two minutes, mostly off your site, or clearly not attempting the task. Give a reason; it's sent to the reviewer. A replacement burn is created at no cost and goes back to the queue for a different reviewer.

Rejecting is for quality problems, not for feedback you didn't like. A blunt, specific recording that tells you your pricing page is confusing is exactly what you paid for.

Timing

We ask you to decide within 48 hours so reviewers get their Heat promptly. If you need longer, nothing is lost; the burn just waits.

Changing your mind

Decisions can't be undone from the dashboard. If you approved or rejected by mistake, contact support with the burn number.
