Can I target specific types of customers?
Yes. On the 10 and 20 packs you can target reviewers by age range, household income, region, and device. Tell us who actually buys from you and we'll send those people.
Targeting narrows which reviewers can claim your burn. It's available on the Growth (10) and Optimizer (20) packs.
What you can target
- Age band — 18–24, 25–34, 35–44, 45–54, 55+
- Household income — under $50k, $50–100k, $100–150k, $150k+
- US region — West, Mountain, Midwest, South, Northeast
- Business owner — reviewers who run a business themselves (the Biz Owner badge)
Device (desktop vs mobile) is set separately on every burn.
Trade-offs
Targeted burns pay the reviewer a $1 bonus and draw from a smaller pool, so they can take longer to be claimed. Target the one or two attributes that actually change how someone shops; leave the rest open.
Targeting is a filter on reviewer profiles, not a guarantee of a particular person. If a burn sits unclaimed, loosen the filter or contact support.
