Recording a mobile burn on your phone

Mobile burns are recorded with your phone's own screen recorder, then uploaded. The burn page on your phone walks you through it.

iPhone

1. 1Settings → Control Center → add Screen Recording if it isn't there.
2. 2Open Control Center, long-press the record button, and turn the Microphone on. This is the step people miss.
3. 3Start recording, open the site in Safari, do the task while talking.
4. 4Stop from the red status bar. The video is in Photos.

Android

1. 1Pull down Quick Settings and tap Screen record (Samsung: Screen recorder).
2. 2Choose Media sounds and mic so your voice is captured.
3. 3Record, browse, talk, stop.

Upload

Back on the burn page, tap Upload recording, pick the video, and wait for the upload to finish (stay on the page). Then write your notes and submit. Recordings must be at least two minutes with audible narration.
